Tote Bag Sewing Party- FILLED

We have 25 participants.  The party is closed.  Looking forward to seeing everyone's projects tomorrow.  Remember, please post your progess several times throughout the day.  We want to see what you're up to.  Try to make it around to other's blogs, too.  I have all participants listed on the right sidebar.  I have it set up to update the list, putting more recent posts at the top of the lists. 

Calling all Charming Guys and Girls for the Sewing Party

Kelly and I are cohosting a Tote Bag Sewing Party for the Charming Guys and Girls this Saturday, April 17th.  So, if you have a bag pattern that you've been wanting to try and you are going to be around on Saturday, I hope you'll join in the fun.  As I said before, we are limiting the number of spaces to 25 members in hopes that we can keep it small and cozy. It really does make it a fun day, if you are able to get around to visiting everyone's blogs for updates as well as making progress on your own bag that day.

So are you in?  If yes, you need to leave a comment on this post committing yourself to the party.  In your comments or profile, be sure I know your blog address so that I can link to you the day of the party.  Then, don't forget to blog about it and feel free to grab the party bling above!  Don't wait too long, we are only holding 25 spots this time.  First come, first serve. 

You can start sewing anytime of the day and sew as long as your heart delights.  Please try to update your blog a couple of times that day, as it is fun to check in on everyone's progress.  On a personal note, I just received word from Buddy's soccer coach that his first game of the season is Saturday morning.  What terrible timing, but Buddy comes first and I am going to his game.  So, I will post the links before I leave for the game Saturday morning.  I will return home to sew around 11:30....and check in on my blog and emails at that time.  If anyone needs any bag assistance, I will be around after 11:30 to help answer your questions or emails.

Of course, we'll have a parade of bags afterwards, and I am sure Kelly will throw in a prize...you know how she rolls!  :) 

For all of my non CGGQC friends, I'd love to see some of you working on bags this weekend and posting projects on your blogs....it would be fun to see lots of bags floating out on the blogs this weekend!  My mom is coming up to sew some bags as well just for fun.  :)

Cute Coupon Clutches

I had myself a little sewing party last night...just me and "New Moon".  These coupon clutches were a quick project.  You could easily finish one while watching your favorite flick.  I love Moda Bake Shop tutorials.

April CGQC goals

Oh, I have so many projects I want to do:

Goal 1:  piece together my tulip blocks
Goal 2:  make 2 handbags (pattern yet to be determined)
Goal 3:  make 2 aprons using the pattern basket pattern
Goal 4:  keep up on my quilt alongs
Goal 5:  make a coupon holder (from the moda bakeshop)
