Lilly Aprons

Dear Zappos

Dear Zappos,
I would like to thank you for allowing my credit card information to be stolen.  I especially enjoyed your light-hearted, almost joking email about it.  Especially the part where you told me that only the last 4 digits of my credit card were taken and therefore, I was most likely "safe".  Tell me, what are the chances that the very same day you let me know this, that my credit card company also let me know that there have been fraudulent charges on my card, exceeding $200.  REALLY?  I suspect it is not a coincidence.  I also think that you should have returned my email by now, 24 hours later. 

I think it only right to warn other customers, don't you?  Especially when my credit card company representative told me that I was not the first customer who was in this predicament that had reported also receiving the letter from Zappos.  Fortunately, my credit card company has had outstanding customer service regarding this situation.  The same cannot be said for you right now.

I thought I would pass along an online store that Jen passed along to me.  Zipit.  Beautiful zippers.  Terrific prices.  Fast service.  I hand picked 25- 14 inch zippers, in my assortment of colors for $12.50!  Even with shipping, it still saved me a bundle compared to Joanns and now I have a nice little stock. 

They arrived 3 days letter at my doorstep.  :)  Love it.

A Christmas finish

Here is another finish from Christmas break.  I love it.  That Santa is so jolly.  I am glad it is done.  The quilt top sat in my closet finished for a year. 

Headbands

Over break, I made a couple of head bands for some little girls birthdays that are coming up.  I admit, I was a little nervous that they would be too big, so I asked Buddy to try them on.  He was not a sport.  So, I paid him.  That's right, I had to pay him.....and swear to never speak of it again.  But they turned out cute and I am sure they will be even cuter on the girls.  I used scraps and followed this tutorial.  I found the flower tutorial here.  They were very easy to make and a good scrapbuster.

We have a lot of first time swappers.  Just a few reminders, please ship on time.  If something comes up let your partner and myself know as soon as possible.  It does happen.  Once I was in a swap, and my dear partner's husband was diagnosed with cancer.  It was easy to be understanding when she let me know.  PLEASE communicate.  Also, while this is not a requirement, you may like to know that often swappers stick a couple of extra goodies/gifties in with their handmade item.  Again, it is not required, but I didn't want you to be surprised that it may happen.
