Mother and Daughter Sewing Day

I helped mom make these bags with a Cotton Blossoms Jelly Roll over the weekend. The pattern is by Bunny Hill. They turned out cute! Does anyone have any advice on an easier way to sew on those buttons with the loop on the back? They're cute, but a real headache.

The bags are really cute. I don't sew on shank buttons, I use those tiny little gold colored safety pins... I can also remove the button for laundering if necessary..

Very cute tote bags. They look kinda summery. How fun doing a sewing day with your mom. I think Nancy has a good idea to use the little gold safety pins for the shank buttons.

I have no button advice for you :(

The bags are WAY CUTE! People need to stop making cute totes! I keep changing my mind as to which ones I want start for myself. LOL! And which ones I want to create for Christmas gifts.

Love the bags, love the fabric..I use dental floss to sew those buttons on so they will stay!
