The Last of the Valentine's Projects

Just a few extra projects that I finished up recently.

I really love the treasure box with the Lil' Squeaks Markers in it, they fit so perfect.

Speaking of Valentine's- I had one person from the swap stop all communications. She didn't send a gift. She didn't thank her partner that sent her one. It is upsetting after all the time I put into the swap, organizing it and following up with reminders and such. I have emailed Wendy M. several times and her partner has emailed her as well. She doesn't return any messages. I know for myself, I feel conned. If you are organizing a swap, beware.

I especially love the cupcakes. :) Maybe I'm needing a sugar fix! Did you have a pattern for that or did you draw it off yourself? Unfortunately sometimes in a swap someone doesn't follow through. There are some not so nice people out there. But maybe it's just that poor Wendy and her family have fallen on hard times in this economy and had to give up their internet connection. Maybe she'll be able to do her part later - I hope so. blessings, marlene

Love those towels -- I think I have that heart -- I can't ever remember what designs I have LOL!

Very cute bags and towels. That's the frustrating part of the swaps. I'm the recipient of the little gift that you just made and sent off, thank you so much. Don't let that discourage you from doing another swap because everyone had fun. Don't let one bad apple spoil things. Perhaps Marlene is right, we don't know why Wendy didn't send a gift or acknowledge her gift but all we can do is the right thing in our own lives and forgive the ones who don't.

I recognize that heart but the cupcakes! I need that one too!! Looks like I'm off to embroidables.com to spend my credit!

Very cute treasure box too. I need to start digging out some of my patterns and start USING them!

I agree with others. Don't let one person spoil your fun. You did a great job with your first swap! Some things are just out of your control.

Those bags are so cute, and such a great handy size! What a shame someone didn't come through on the Valentines Swap,it must have been very disappointing for her swap partner. I have to say once I felt unable to follow through on a commitment to fellow patchers - but I managed to let everyone know well ahead of time so it didn't inconvenience anyone, and still felt bad about it! But you organised a great swap, and those of us who participated are very grateful to you!

Great towels. And good for you posting names. It's just not right when someone does that to another.
