What a Swell bag!

So, I made this cute bag out of a charm pack of Swell by Moda. It turned out cute and fresh. I used 3 rows with four columns. I also had some yardage I used to line the bag and make the handles. I made the handles by cutting 6 inches X WOF, in case you are wondering. I folded them with some batting and then sewed them. I cut the strip in half, making 2 handles. I had a few charms leftover, which I sewed together to make a couple of interior pockets.

I am curious, what projects have you made out of charm packs? Thanks for the votes and nice comments about our grab bags. We really appreciate our circle of quilters. You guys are the best!

Cute bag! I love the Swell fabrics but dont have any yet :-(. I have only bought charm squres once and I made them into HSTs and put a quilt together for a camp that hosts cancer survivors.

Great bag! I just love charm squares. I have made mostly quilts with them, but have been meaning to make some bags as well.

I've been working on a quilt that I saw over on the blog Anyone Can Quilt. Sarah's link is on my blog and the finished quilt is on her August 23rd post. It's really easy. My friend and I are making this one as a donation for Relay for Life. When I finish I'm making myself one out of the new Moda fabric, Collection for a Cause. It's gorgeous!

Your bag is darling.

What a lovely bag! I have recently bought my first charm pack. So far I have made keychains, Tissue pack covers, coasters, yo-yo's, and covered buttons. I still have a few left and now I can see the use for such small pieces of fabric, I think i will be buying more. I think they are most useful if the design is fairly small.
