As buddy would say, "That is such a dumber." What he means to say is 'bummer'. It is a bummer. I should be enjoying this quiet peace. I should be sewing like a maniac in an empty house. Yet, there is nothing to sew on. I say empty house because The Director went and bought my medicine, my Starbucks to pout on, and the boys left the house. I think they didn't want to be around me while I was still contagious. I think they are going to be gone all day, actually. Since I was having company there isn't much to do around here....the house is quite clean.
Onto an almost positive note, here is a picture of what I did get done before Satan possessed my machine.
It is quite chic and contemporary for me and I LOVE IT. I am going to give it away though, so I am trying not to get too attached. Even The Director likes it. And buddy, well buddy usually likes everything...he said his normal, "that's pretty, mama."
On a final note, here is a picture of my cute little buddy with his cute little worms in his bug box. He was pretty excited that I found said worms for him. And btw, my husband did finish weed-wackin those weeds around the sandbox. We were in middle of some yard work when I discovered the worms.
One final thought or question, what happened to Connie's blog: Simply Quilted? Connie are you out there? Since you Simply dissappeared, I am a bit concerned!
Oh and I have been tagged, twice infact! I will be responding shortly and thanks for all the blogtaglove. Would anyone like to be tagged?

oh, no, not pink eye! that is a bummer. and with no machine to sew on...that really stinks. hope it clears up soon.
Sorry about the pink eye..what a bummer. I love the quilt and pictures of Buddy with the bugs is way too cute. Thank you so much for visiting my new blog. Hope to see you again soon.
I love, LOVE your quilt! Wow! Very chic and very beautiful. But ugh...pink eye. Sit back and sip that Starbucks and enjoy those lazy summer days of worms in bug boxes. They're irreplaceable.
You are a girl after my own heart - Starbucks (Venti Iced Chai Latte please) will cure anything. But to be without a machine - I'd be tempted to go out and buy another so I'm sure my husband would be scrambling to get mine fixed! Blessings, marlene
Yes, what a dumber...bummer! Ouch, pink eye is no fun. So sorry about the eye, but even worse...ack!...no machine!! I love the work that you have done on your quilt though. Quick get the machine fixed so we can see the quilt complete...hurry!
ok this is probably a really dumb question but how do you get your favorite blogs to show on the sidebar with the time they were recently updated? Is it bloglines? I have my links listed on mine but I like the fact that yours shows when each was updated. please let me know....thanks!!
oh and why is it that when you don't have a machine you 'need' one...even IF it sat for months without use before? ugh...I would be really struggling without my machine!
Love the fabric in your new quilt top - very stylish.
Hope your machine is back in working order soon - I get quite tetchy when I can't get my sewing fix! Hope your eye improves soon.
Thats too bad! And your machine is out?? I can't decide which one is worse, you poor thing!
Hey, at least your quilt top is turning out cute- who are you giving it away to? Me?? :-)
Oooh, cute quilt! And even cuter Lil' Buddy. I hope your machine AND eye are better today!
