SWAP update- attention all swappers

Might I just say, you ladies are mighty impressive.  I have never had so many early birds before.  I thank you and I know your partners thank you as well.  And, I am seeing some really cute bags on FLICKR.  If you haven't had a chance to post, please do!

Yesterday was our EARLY BIRD DRAWING deadline.  I haven't heard from a few of you listed below.  If you did ship, please let me know via comments or an email.  I'm sure a couple of you did ship, and just forgot to let me know.  I know some of you were very close to being done.  I don't want to exclude anyone from the drawing.

While the date for the drawing was yesterday, you do have until this Saturday (Feb 11th) to ship and "officially" be on time.  I suspect that this will be the case.  I do hope everyone is on time because I would hate to have to exclude you from any future swaps.  No one likes having packages arrive late, myself included.  Please don't put me in the position to be the meany.

I think I will be drawing 2 names, and each winner will receive one of the bags in my my SWAP bling picture and a bag pattern I bought.  I am thinking of trying to round up a sponser for the next SWAP.  Feel free to throw me ideas on that topic.

One last note, Sharon created a darling tutorial for her bag and you can find it here.

Oooo another swap; this one possibly sponsored. COOL!! You and I both know how much we LOVE bags and totes but what about a mini quilt or table runner? I'm running out of room with all the bags and I have 3 of my own that I'm working on. :)

to expand on my thought... a mini quilt or table runner using a specific quilt block or color scheme? Or. Or. The theme could be "Spring Scrappy" or something like that. :)

Count me in for another swap! I like the idea of a mini quilt or a table runner too! Spring scrappy sounds good too!

Reading thru my blog list, I just was inspired for another idea! How about a pillow? You can set a size and the swap would be a pillow cover with zipper or envelope closing! (this way we are not shipping Pillows!

Since we are discussing the next swap...here's an idea too. A sewing machine cover swap? Something similar to this?

I can't thank you enough for organizing this swap and being such a gracious hostess!! It was fun to have something else to think about then the "have-tos" of every day life and even more fun, of course, to know I was gonna get a really cool treat in the mail!! Thank you, again! Can't wait for the next one :) :)

I too joined this as my first SWAP. Sadly, looking at what everyone else shared, and based upon what I got I feel like I let my partner down. I didn't know to tuck in more than one bag, or other goodies, so I literally just made a bag. ;( I think she liked it, but I feel bad I didn't do more. At least now I know.

I am looking forward to another for sure. Thanks for organizing this one.
