So, I decided to use some of the fats in my stash to make a laundry bag using a pattern by Fig Tree Quilts. It is a super easy pattern. I love it. I do wish my finished bag was a bit bigger though. It is going to be a gift for a HS graduate this spring. I hope to embroider some complimenting towels as well.
Did you work on anything last night?

Great gift Kris! I work on Mon Ami but didn't join the sew-in this time.
I finished putting the binding on my Farmer's Wife quilt. My first major finish of the year!!
Lovely Laundry Bag Kris.
I made three Blankets of Love and some QAYG blocks for Jan.
NICE! The graduate will love it. I did some sewing. Pop over and check it out.
Great job with your FNSI - very pretty bag.

Oh that's really cute Kris. It will be a perfect gift!!!
Great gift idea and love the chosen fabrics.
I worked on putting swap blocks into a top.
Oh, how cool is that? I'm sure it will be appreciated!
I worked on the blocks for a quilt for the guest room last night.
Kris that is really lovely - that will be a welcome gift!
I love the laundry bag.....I wish I was as far ahead as you are! Impressive! I worked on my Mon Ami this weekend and posted about it on my blog :)
I love giving laundry bags as gifts when people go to uni, nowhere near as nice as yours though!
Me again :) - do you remember how big this bag came out? I have to make a sack for that Santa Sack Swap I joined and this one may be a good size for it. Let me know. :)
