Breaking out the bag bling

Kelly and I have been busy planning our Tote Bag Sewing Party which is on April 17th.  We are limiting the number of spaces to 25 members in hopes that we can keep it small and cozy.  It really does make it a fun day, if you are able to get around to visiting everyone' blogs for updates as well as making progress on your own bag that day.

In addition to showing off this mighty fine party bling, I thought I might give you some fun links to bag projects.

If you want to learn how to insert a magnetic snap, this is where I learned.  And it has never failed me!

Here are a few other great tutorials:
U-handbag-I just discovered these cute bags tutorials
Lazy Girl Designs- good tips for the bag maker

Stay tuned for sign up information.

Very nice Kris! I wanted to start mine today and you know what! I don't have enough of the fabric I wanted to use for the lining!! I'll have to go with something else. I was bummed.

I love your pink bag. Since I am sewing with you I can really enjoy it. It would make a nice Mother's Day gift. Mom
