Patience is Something I Have Always Lacked

So, my x-ray report came back that I still have pneumonia. I was not surprised by this news, but on the positive side I am not coughing much these days. I just feel like someone has knocked the wind out of me on occasion and I get tired easily. So, tomorrow I am going for a chest CT and then the doctor is going to decide what to do next. I told the nurse that I only have 12 days until I leave for NYC!!! I want this beat by then. I think my husband is even more anxious for a recovery than I am! LOL He has had a long honey-do list and he feels he needs a vacation.

I feel s bad that you are still dealing with this. I am sending super duper good thoughts your way and hopefully some more powerful medicine from the doctor.

Get better! It's tough thing to kick, both my husband and son had 2 boughts of it last winter/spring. Rest (as much as that is possible!) and think of NYC!

Traveling and being sick is no fun. Have a great time in NYC! Wave in the general direction of CT when you get there! LOL.

Give yourself time to heal. When my twins were three weeks old I could not take a deep breath and was diagnosed with pneumonia and plurasy. It took me nearly four months to get a clear x-ray.

Time is your best friend with this...... use all he will give you.

Hugs,
Nancy
