Summer didn't go as exactly as we planned

I've been absent from my blog and from yours. I've been absent from my sewing room. Mainly I think I just haven't had any drive to complete anything. Or talk about sewing. Brady kicked summer off poorly by breaking his arm, 2 hours after the final bell of the year rang. It was a pretty severe break, and he fractured another bone as well. He had surgery, and an 8 inch rod seemed to straighten everything out.

We still made the best of summer.  We had a nice trip to Chicago. We watched a lot of movies. He's still on total activity restrictions until January, most likely.  He has surgery again in late November. It's hard for a boy to be as careful as he has and watch all of his friends be active.

Wait. Who's Brady LOL!!! Poor Buddy -- he looks so cute in his picture (and boy is he growing up!). Hopefully the next few months will whizzzzz by and he'll be back at it soon (albeit a little more carefully?). Great to see you back!

Ouch! My what a summer! I'll bet it's one he won't forget ;-) Hopefully he'll be back in the swing of things soon. It certainly is hard to keep boys still isn't it?

Buddy is brave. I would be FREAKING OUT sitting on that ledge. I don't care that it's all thick glass. no way. No how. I hope all is well!
