Tote Bag Party Update 3

I see a lot of great bags out there.  Many of you have shut down for the night, but we are still plugging away here.  I have all but the top stitching done on the pink bag.  This is a big BAG.  A bit big for me for a purse, it is meant for me for a purse.  I probably will still use it though.  The picture doesn't represent its biggness.
Notice the tucks?  This was my first experience doing tucks.  Easy Peasey.


The green bag has a ways to go yet.  It is meant for a present.  I am going to go work on it right now.


Mom is ready to square up the third bag and sew it together.  I didn't get a picture of it, but here are the other two, they just need the buttons yet.  My camera stinks at night.  Mom's bags are really cute, I will have to get a better picture of them tomorrow.



We took a dinner break and made chili for the guys.  Now we are having a sundae party...LOL.  Then, we are back at it!

    Your bags turned out great and going from blog to blog to see all the progress on their totes has been a blast. Wished I could of joined, grand babies birthday took over this weekend.

    You are having Sundae's and did not invite the rest of us!!!! I infact am about ready to get off for tonight--fix me a dish of Mint Chocolate chip ice cream and put in a movie!!!
    OH love the bags--I think you could buy ALOT of fabric and sewing needs and have room in that bag to carry them all home in!!!!

    Oh Girls, I'm drooling over here! Kris - I love your bag, and the pleats are so pretty. And, Mary - I heart your Simple Abundance bags. Great job! Now - how come I wasn't invited to the Sundae party LOL?

    Ooooh very nice, I *love* the tucks, I'm glad you said they were easy because they look just a little bit scary LOL! Your mums bag look great too, I love the knots in the handles, little things like that really make a bag!

    Beautiful all 3;you work ever so quickly! New lovely day here up in the very north of the world. As I am not at all involved in the tragic of the Islandic ashes,I `ll do some more Tote Bag sewing. So hopefully in 1-2-3.... may be!!!
