Oh so glad you all liked those mixer covers as much as I did. Now to answer your questions. Did I follow a pattern or tutorial? Yes and no. Helpful, right? I found a tutorial online, but I really only used her pattern pieces, which I ended up extending by 3/4 an inch on all pieces. Let me say, had I followed the instructions, my life may have been easier. Don't ask me why I just didn't as I really have no reason to my madness. Below is the link to the tutorial. You can also find the link in my pinterest page, which I have added a button for on my side bar.

Cute, I'll have to look at the tutorial. Nice gift.
ReplyDeleteYour mixer covers are all very cute Kris. I have so little counter space that I keep my Kitchenaid inside the cupboard. I'd certainly make a cover if I kept it out.
ReplyDeleteIt is really cute in the fabrics you used. Mine needs a new cover.
ReplyDeleteNow you're making me want to make a cover for mine. Maybe for my new kitchen... :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the details ... I did wonder myself and my find a reason to leave my mixer on the counter now :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute!!!!! May we use your picture and tutorial for Christmas Through The Year? I will link back to you for sure. Stinkin' cute!!!!
