It was too tempting to make this Whimsy Bag in Early Bird fabrics. I just love how this came out, don't you? This is for a friend's birthday. It was quite quick to whip up. Although, I must admit that I did alter the end of the pattern and inserted the lining into the main bag a bit more traditionally. This would make a great bag for teachers.
I love the 6 roomy pockets.
I love it! and what a coincidence... I'm a teacher... I'll expect mine in the mail LMAO!
ReplyDeleteSeriously though it's beautiful! Your friend is lucky to get that for her birthday!
Okay, I was coming over to share that I've finished my BCFQ that I used the Boutique fabric on and I just saw this adorable bag you made in some beautiful fabric that I probably am now going to have to go hunt down. Way cool bag! I've posted my BCFQ quilt along on my blog over at why-knot-kwilt. Hope you like it. Thanks Kris!!
ReplyDeletethat turned out great! I've had that pattern for awhile and have wanted to make it. Are the pockets big enough to stick a water bottle in them?
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bag and a lucky friend!! I love the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteYou do such nice work. I love all the bags you make. This is so cute.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I love that fabric line. I am currently making potholders/hotpads out of it.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love it! I will have to keep that in mind for teacher gifts. My cousin asked me to make her a bag (with a zipper). I think I'm going to try the Margo bag from the LGD line.
