So exercise is the topic this week. I have nothing exciting to offer except that I have been walking. In fact, I walked tonight after work. I am thinking about getting an MP3 player for my birthday...for walking. What songs would your recommend I download to keep me moving? Suggestions anyone?
I will close with a reminder. It is that time of year, people. The time of year when the Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs are everywhere. Just because they are there, you don't need to eat them every time you see them. I'm just saying....just in case this applies to any or you...or me.
Lately, every time I go to the store, I get a RP Egg (if I see them). I'm a horrible person.
ReplyDeleteFor your MP3 player, if you can stand it, lots of 70s disco, country "happy" songs and 80s pop. But a MP3 player makes the walk go by so much faster.
I haven't had any of those eggs yet...I gave up sugar for Lint. But I can tell you that I'm craving them like crazy. And, I LOVE peeps so that's killing me too. lol
ReplyDeleteOMG it's so hard...they're everywhere and they're so darn good...but I've resisted so far.
ReplyDeleteWalking great... Candy bad!
ReplyDeleteDang, sounds like we're all struggling with the Easter candy! Regarding music--I agree with 70's disco or motown. Good luck~ :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd this is why I can't diet around Easter. (Or any other holiday for that matter.) Candy. I LOVE it and can't stay away!
ReplyDeleteFrom Halloween till Easter, I'm a chocola-holic. But I've been good. Yesterday and today I haven't ate any candy. My favorite Easter candy are the cadbury eggs! I love them. They have less than 200 calories, tho. When I diet, I count calories, so if I want a cadbury, I eat it and just add the calories up. I like 60s and 70s oldies.
ReplyDeleteDid you know you can download books onto your MP3 player? I do it all the time and I love it! Oh, and about the Reese's...what if it calls your name? blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteI took a drive over the pass and listened to XM 6, that's 60's on 6.
ReplyDeleteIt made for a quick trip, not much exercise but it would work. So anything from the 60's I would say.
